Project estimate
A working budget, with every assumption in view.
Let’s find the property.
We’ll look up the available details online. Review the prefilled fields, then open your estimate.
Choose a location and finish profile, then enter the living area. The calculator will build a first estimate using the editable Build Strong rates.
Project quantities
Enter the scope you are pricing. A roof, foundation and floor have different surfaces even when they share the same unit.
Linked or manual
Linked lines update when their project quantity changes, even after you edit their unit price. Switch a line to Manual quantity for a different scope. Blank means unknown; enter 0 only for confirmed zero scope.
Fees & project costs
Keep the contract, the owner's costs and the reserve separate.
Builder fee
“Included in builder fee” suppresses the separate project-management line only. General conditions and temporary facilities remain in the budget.
Contingency & coverage
10% is a planning assumption, not a rate established by these SOVs. Reference replays start at 0%.
Owner-side costs
Check what the construction contract already covers. Unknown fees are not assumed waived.
Temporary housing
Construction financing
Editable planning inputs, not a lender quote.
Six contracts. Different scopes.
Use a SOV as a starting budget or inspect the reference behind a unit price. These are historical contract budgets.
Compare a trade
Historical SOV budgets before builder fees. Related source lines may cover a broader scope; ratios below are per living SF only.
Quantity-based presets
Prices before builder fees. Physical quantities stay blank until measured.
Scope & assumptions
Resolve missing quantities, exclusions and contract-specific ambiguities before issuing a proposal.
